Europe and school life are changing fast. What kind of schools should we build for the future? How do we support learning and motivate our kids better with school buildings, learning spaces and new learning environments?
What is role of ICT in modern classrooms. What should be inside the buildings? What kind of software we should use with children in kindergartens and schools? Future virtual reality is here with 3D. What shall we do with it?

Place: Joensuu, Finland (education takes place at new and modern school buildings, built 2015-2019)
Course fee: 2018 session 0: 450 €, sessions 1 and 2 480 € and 2019, 2020 480 €/participant. Course fee must be fully paid no later than 4 weeks before the start of the cource or with later instructions.
Course fee includes education, transportation during course week, coffee/tea breaks, certificates, trips and visits, one cultural evening with dinner.
You do not have to pay anything before having positive Erasmus+ funding from your agency!
Accomodation 2018, Joensuu, in our cooperation hotel, Sokos hotel Kimmel: July 2018: Single room 69€/night, double room 84€/night and double room with extra bed 109€/night Also standard and superior rooms are possible for extra fee (ask for it).
It may be possible to obtain a European Union Erasmus+ (formerly Comenius) grant (K1, learning mobillity of individuals) to cover course fee, travelling and accomodation costs!
The next closing date for Erasmus+ applications is in February 2019 (education starting earliest in June 2019). Teachers will need the application of their Headteacher in doing this. More information is available from your national agency and our website.

Aim of the course:
Course aim is learn about different learning and teaching environments, school buildings, ICT and virtual reality and how to prepare your pupils/student for future learning and worklife. Participants will also learn how to start planning a school renovation/building a new school.
The most important thing is to learn how to create learning environment that motivates students to make their best. Course is including quite many school visits. Aim is also to learn pedagogical English language and wide your professional network of collegues in Europe.

Place: Joensuu, Finland (can be reached from Helsinki by airplane, train or by bus)
Programme of the training activities (day by day):
1st DAY (starting 10.00 AM) Programme of the week, getting to know each other, Finnish education system, education systems and KA1 projects of participants. What kind of schools Europe needs in a future. Future curricula.
2nd DAY What kind of schools are we building now? Is learning changing, should schools change too? What do we really need inside schools? How we should plan a future schools? School visits and group work.
3rd DAY Modern ICT based learning environments. Apps for primary and secondary education and new ideas how to use modern technology + virtual reality and 3D.
4th DAY Trip to KOLI national park. Barbeque evening together with lake Saimaa (if possible).
5th DAY School, but should it be something else? What kind of furniture do we need inside? What about outside the school? What kind of action pupils/students need during the breaks? What about teachers, head teacher and staff? Feedback conversation, certificates and last night. Officially training is over 13.00 o´clock.
