School is a part of sociaty, so we have plenty of material around us, also outside the school and in virtual reality.
Nature, sculptures, enterprises,360 photos etc. and other sources can be used in our curriculum. Sessions are identical, so choose one for your team.

Outcomes of training week week:
During a course week you will learn how to use sociaty, enterprises, culture and nature as teachiung and learning material. Participant will also learn to use iPads, computers and other modern equipment to use outside the school building.
Participants can also develope their professional English level and learn from each others. They will also get new collegues from all over the Europe and they can start to think example new project together.

Course fee: 480€/participant. Discount 30 €/participant if your group is 5 participants or more.
Course fee does not include meals or accomodation. Course fee must be paid four weeks before course start to bank account or with later instructions.
Accomodation in summer 2018 in our cooperation hotel, Sokos hotel Kimmel: Single room 69€/night, Double room 84€/night and double room with extra bed 109€/night. Also standard and superior rooms are possible with extra fee (ask for it). You are also free to use other hotels or airbnb.
It may be possible to obtain a European Union Erasmus+ (formerly Comenius) grant (K1, learning mobillity of individuals) to cover course fee, travelling and accomodation costs! Next closing date for Erasmus+ applications is in February 2018 (education starting earliest June 2018), and teachers will need the application of their Headteacher in doing this. More information is available from our website and in your national agency. So, you can book your place before making application to Erasmus+ office and when you get decision let us now if you are really coming.
Schedule of five days:
DAY 1 10:00-17:00: Welcome to Finland. Finnish education system, City
of Joensuu. Ice breaker games outdoors and Finnish national games
"Mölkky" and Finnish baseball.
DAY 2 10:00-17:00: Use of modern technology in outdoor education.Water, nature museums and culture targets. Gaming with outdoor education. Outdoor workshops and groupworks about differrent themes with Finnish expert teachers. Action cameras and drones.
DAY 3: 10:00-15:00 Visit to KOLI national park. How schools can
use their natural heretage as pedagogical material. Small hike and presentation
DAY 4: 9:00-16:00 Out to enterprises! How to co-operate and make
school alive with local enterprises. How to use mentor enterprises with
schools. Visit to local enterprise.
18:00-21:00Evening party with Lake Saimaa, Sauna, barbecue food and drinks with local music and culture (including the course fee)
DAY 5: 10:00-13:00 Conclusions of the course, group works,
certificates and farewell.
